Eppleton Cricket Club’s Development XI competes in Division 4 of the Hetton Lyons Sunday Cricket Development League, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for players of all abilities.

Playing Sunday fixtures, the Development XI offers an opportunity for both experienced players and those new to the game to enjoy competitive cricket in a relaxed and encouraging setting.

Led by captain Joe McGann, the Development XI is made up of a mix of experienced players and those developing their skills, with a strong focus on progression within the club.

The team plays an important role in supporting junior development, with older junior players regularly given the opportunity to step into adult cricket — something the club actively encourages as part of its player pathway.
